While we do welcome walk-ins during select hours, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the best shopping experience. Booking an appointment guarantees you a fitting room and a dedicated consultant to help you find the perfect dress. Walk-in availability is limited and subject to fitting room and staff availability.
Just bring your lovely self! We have everything you need to enjoy your appointment. We do ask that guests remove their shoes at the front entrance to help keep our boutique and dresses clean, so feel free to bring a pair of cozy socks or slippers to make yourself comfortable while you shop!
If you've found a dress you love from one of the designers we carry but don't see it in our boutique, we'd be happy to look into ordering it for you! Simply email us at hello@treschicbbc.ca with the style number and your preferred colour, and we'll be happy to confirm whether it's available to order.
Alterations and tailoring are offered seasonally during our quieter winter months at our sister store, Bridal Boutique of Cambridge. Outside of this time, we are happy to provide a list of our preferred seamstresses in the surrounding area. While these professionals come recommended, they operate independently and are not affiliated with Très Chic.
While we don't carry a full bridal collection, we do offer a selection of little white dresses and ivory gowns perfect for pre-wedding celebrations and special occasions. For brides searching for their wedding gown, our sister store, Bridal Boutique of Cambridge, is located just two doors down and offers a beautiful selection of bridal dresses. Once you've found the dress you love, we'll take your measurements and reference the designer's size chart to help determine the best size for you. Your consultant will walk you through a size consultation to ensure you're comfortable with the selection before placing your order.
A 50% deposit is required to place your order, with the remaining balance due once your dress arrives.
As soon as your dress is here, we'll give you a call and send you an email to arrange an inspection appointment. During this visit, you'll have the opportunity to try on your dress so we can ensure it has arrived in perfect condition and fits as expected. Once everything looks good, you'll take your beautiful new dress home!
We recommend starting your search 6–8 months before the wedding. Production and delivery timelines vary between designers and styles, so shopping early gives you the widest selection and the best opportunity to find exactly what you're looking for. Shopping on a shorter timeline? Don't let that stop you from visiting! We offer dresses off the rack and can also explore styles currently in stock with our designers in Canada, depending on the availability of your preferred size and colour. We're always happy to see what options we can find for you!
We carry Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom dresses in sizes 4–26 in store. Select styles are also available to order in sizes 0–32, subject to designer availability. If you're looking for a particular size, we'd be happy to help explore the options available!
We recommend ordering bridesmaid dresses at least six months before the wedding. This allows ample time for the dresses to be made, shipped, and arrive with enough time for any necessary alterations before the big day.
We carry bridesmaid dresses in sizes 0–24 in store. Select styles can also be ordered in sizes 00–30, subject to designer availability. If you're looking for a particular size, we'd be happy to help explore the options available!
Our bridesmaid appointments are 1.5 hours long, and we reserve the back section of our boutique exclusively for your group. This space features two comfortable couches and three fitting rooms, giving everyone room to relax and enjoy the experience.
Your consultant will guide the bridesmaids through the store, helping select styles that reflect both the bride's vision and each bridesmaid's personal preferences. We also have colour swatches available to help the bride explore options and find the perfect shade for her wedding palette.
If you have more than three bridesmaids, no worries! The girls can take turns using the fitting rooms while everyone enjoys the experience together. Our goal is to make your appointment relaxed, enjoyable, and all about finding dresses you'll love!
We don't offer swatches directly, but some of our bridesmaid designers offer colour swatches that can be ordered through their websites. We also carry a selection of swatches in store that you're welcome to view during your visit to help find the perfect colours for your wedding palette.
We have prom dresses available in store throughout the year, but we recommend starting your search in January. Shopping early gives you the best opportunity to find your preferred style, size, and colour, with time to order your dress if needed and arrange any alterations before prom.
We carry prom dresses in a range of sizes from 00 to 24 in store. If we don't have your size available in a particular style, we'd be happy to look into ordering it for you, subject to availability through the designer.
